1	Geography	Essential: i) First class M.A/M.Sc in Geography.               ii) Ph.D in Geography with specialization in Remote Sensing & GIS                or M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS Desirable: Work Experience in Remote sensing and GIS
2	Agriculture	Essential:  i) First class M.Sc in Agricultural Science/Botany.         ii) Ph.D in Agricultural/Botany with specialization in Plant/Crop Physiology Desirable:  R & D experience in plant-water relationships.
3	Agriculture	Essential: i) First class M.Sc in Agricultural with specialization in Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension.          ii) Ph.D in Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension. Desirable: Work Experience in Agricultural Economics

 Pay :  Scale of Pay Rs.15600-39100+Grade Pay Rs.5400/-(CSIR Scale of Pay).
