The Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) : WALK-IN-INTERVIEW at Vizag (CMLRE PROJECT)
Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-Interview with all relevant documents for 3 (three) position of S. Research Fellows (on contractual basis) to work in the project “Exploration and assessment of demersal fishery resources along the continental slope (200-1200m) of Indian EEZ and Central Indian Ocean” funded by the The Centre for Marine Living Resources and Ecology [CMLRE], at Vizag Research Centre of CIFT, Visakhapatnam.
The duration of the project is five years.
1.Sr. Research Fellow – 2 posts (FT Division)
Qualification : MFSc/ M.sc in Industrial Fisheries/ MSc Marine Biology / Fisheries / Zoology (with specialization in fisheries).
2.Sr. Research Fellow – 1 post (FP Division)

Desirable:i) Experience in in cruises onboard research Vessels/commercial vessels.
ii) Proficiency in instrumentation and specialization with residue contaminants
iii) Onboard fisheries and oceanographic data collection
iv) Proficiency in computers, data handling and statistical analysis.
v) NET qualified
Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/- pm + 20 % HRADate of interview : 18.6.2013
