Applications are invited for recruitment on contract basis for ELECTRONIC MEDIA MONITORING CENTRE, MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING
1. Content Auditor  : 3 posts 
Educational qualification :
i) Graduate with PG Diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication.
ii) 3 years experience in visual media or news agencies like ANI, PTI, UNI etc.
iii) Retired News Editor/ Dy.Director News from Doordarshan/All India Radio are also eligible to apply.
Pay Scale :  Rs. 24,000-30,000/-
2. Senior Monitor     :  7  posts
Educational qualification : i) Bachelor  in Journalism /  Mass Communication.
ii) PG Diploma in Journalism with 2 years experience in Media or News Agency.
iii) Retired News Editor/ Assistant Director News from Doordarshan/All India Radio are also eligible to apply.
Pay Scale :  Rs.15,000-20,160/-
3. Monitor   :  37 posts for below languages
Bengali (4 Posts), Kannada (4 Posts), Telugu ( 4 Posts), Tamil (3 Posts), Assamese (3 Posts), Punjabi (2 Posts), Hindi and English (17 Posts)
Educational qualification : i) Graduate with proficiency in computer operations and knowledge (proficiency) in concerned language and in English as the monitors are required to   translate and analyze the news/contents of telecasts from the language concerned into English.
ii) Minimum  one year  experience  in Media/News operations.
iii) P.G.Diploma in journalism/Graduation in Journalism/Mass Communication shall be desirable.
Pay Scale :  Rs.10,000-15,000/-
Application fees/ Registration fees : Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred  Only) by demand draft drawn in favour of Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited  payable at New Delhi. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from the registration fee.
