ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS:

Eligible to appear for GATE 2014 

Candidates eligible to appear for GATE 2014 are given below.

1. B.E./B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm. : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy (Post-Diploma/ Post B.Sc./4 years after 10+2)
2. B.S : Bachelor's degree in Science (Post-Diploma/ 4 years after 10+2)
3. M.Sc./M.A./ MCA or equivalent : Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent
4. Int. M.E/ M.Tech (Post BSc) : Post-BSc Integrated Master’s degree programs in Engineering/ Technology (Four year programme)
5. Int. M.E./M.Tech or Dual Degree (after Diploma or 10+2) : Integrated Master’s degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering/ Technology (Five year programme)
6. Int. M. Sc/ Int. B.S.-M.S. : Integrated M.Sc. or Five year integrated B.S.-M.S. program
7. Professional Society Examinations (equivalent to B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch) : B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch. equivalent examinations, of Professional Societies, recognized by MHRD/ UPSC/ AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institution of Engineers-India, AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers-India)
Select paper : candidate is allowed to appear in only one paper ( Determine the GATE paper you wish to appear for.)
Select examination centre : There are 3 choices.
Candidate can choose a particular city as the first for appearing GATE 2014 examination. The corresponding zone to  which this first choice city belongs will be known. 
The candidate can then choose his/ her second choice only from the cities available in that zone. 
A third choice is also introduced in GATE 2014. The list of third choice cities will be as specified by each zone. Note that this third choice city may either be from the zone to which the first and second choice cities belong or from some other zone.

Only those candidates who have completed or are pursuing the final year of PG degree in related subjects are eligible to appear AP. SET.

Online applications are invited from candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to VIII in schools in Andhra Pradesh for appearance in the Fourth Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-September, 2013) to be conducted by Department  of  School
Education, Government of  Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, 1st September, 2013 in all 23 Districts of the State.

ELIGIBILITY : APTET-September 2013

Candidates should be pursuing Teacher Education Course during 2012-13 or earlier.

Paper – I : category I to V classes : Minimum Qualifications : 
Teacher Education Certificates or pursuing final year of respective Teacher Education Course during 2012-2013 or earlier:
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 
pass in or pursuing final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education 
OR Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 
pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education 
(B.El.Ed.) OR Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 2 - year Diploma in Education 
(Special Education) 

APTET-2013 Structure and Content of Paper – I (All Compulsory) :

1. Child Development and Pedagogy : 30 marks
2. Language I : 30 marks
3. Language II (English) : 30 marks
4. Mathematics : 30 marks
5. Environmental Studies : 30 marks


Paper-II : VI to VIII classes : Minimum Qualifications :
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com and pass in or pursuing final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR  B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com pass with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing 1 - year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Course. OR B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com pass with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education) Course. OR Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) Course. OR Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed Course. 

 APTET-2013 Structure and Content Paper-II :

1. Child Development and Pedagogy : 30 marks 
2. Language I  : 30 marks
3. Language II : 30 marks
4. Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies : 60 marks

Language Pandit Training (LPT) : 

LPTcertificate or those pursuing LPT Course during 2012-13 or earlier are
1. Telugu Pandit : B.A. (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language-Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or a graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu) pass or pursuing Telugu Pandit Training Certificate.
2. Hindi pandit : graduate degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha / Vidwan of Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad of any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA 
standard) by the Government of A.P. or M.A., Hindi pass or pursuing Hindi Pandit Training Certificate.
3. Urdu pandit : BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Urdu or Graduate Degree with optional subject Urdu or M.A. (Urdu) pass or pursuing Urdu Pandit Training Certificate.
4. Other Languages (Bengali, Gujarathi,Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Sanskrit, Tamil) Graduate Degree in the Language concerned pass or pursuing Pandit Training in the Language concerned or B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the methodologies

Fee and submission of Application Onlinefor AP TET 2013:


fee prescribed for appearing for AP TET (including examination fee) is Rs.200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) for only Paper-I or only Paper-II or both.  
Candidates can pay the fee through APONLINE or e-Seva / mee seva centers between 15.07.2013 and 31.07.2013 and submit online  application at the APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between 16.07.2013 and 01.08.2013.

Validity period of TET Certificate / Marks Memo:

APTET Certificates / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.

Date and Timings of 4th AP TET:

APTET will be conducted on 1st September, 2013 in all the Districts of the State. 
The duration and timings of the test :
Paper-I  : 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon (duration 2 ½ hours) 
Paper-II : 2.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. (duration 2 ½ hours)

DISTRICT INSTITUTES OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING (DIET) /ELEMENTARY TEACHER TRAINING INSTITUTES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST - 2013
Examination for DIET CET 2013 held on Friday, 31st   May, 2013 in all 23 districts in Andhra pradesh to take admission into two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.,) in Government District Institutes  of  Educational  Training  (DIETs)  and Private  Elementary  Teacher Training Institutions
Eligibility Criteria for Admission :
i) Candidate should be an Indian Nationality.
ii) The  candidate  should  satisfy  Local/Non-Local Status requirements as laid down  in the  A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of  admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
iii) Candidate should have obtained a rank in DIET CET 2013
iv) Age Limit : The candidates   should have  completed   17 years as  on 01-09-2013. There is no  upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications: candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2
Examinations  (qualifying examination)  or  its equivalent are eligible to appear for  the entrance test. But they should have passed the qualifying examination  by the time of admission.
The candidate  should have secured 45 percent of  marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled  Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 40 percent.

Andhra Pradesh State Education Common Entrance Test (Ed.CET-2013) : Preliminary Key released

Andhra Pradesh State Education Common Entrance Test (Ed.CET-2013) will be conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into B.Ed course for the academic year 2013-2014.
Ed. CET 2013 examination held on 3rd June 2013 in Andhra Pradesh State.

The APSCHE and (AU) Andhra University Will Released the Preliminary  Key for Ed.CET Key 2013  at the EDCET 2013 Official Website www.apedcet.org.
Interested Aspirants check their AP EDCET 2013 Answer Key.
Common Entrance Test, designated as Education Common Entrance Test-2013 (Ed.CET-2013) will be conducted by the CONVENER, Ed.CET-2013, Department of Education, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission into B.Ed.

HOW TO APPLY : Apply online through RGUKT website or  APOnline 
(i)from RGUKTwebsite : Candidates maapply online from RGUKT website by payment of Rs. 150/-(Rs.100/- for SC/STcandidates) as registration fee by any one of the following modes:
a) Through a crossed Demand Draft (DD) from any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of RGUKT SBH A/C No. 62282402377 payable at Hyderabad. Candidates must write their Name& 10th class Hall Ticket number  on the bacside of DD (or)
b) Through SBH Bank Challan: A/C No. 62282415161 (through SBH branc only)  (or)
c) Through SBH Internet Banking (i  collect): A/ No. 62282412273 (through SBH
branch only).
(ii) APOnline: Candidates can also apply through APOnline services by paying registration fee and service charges of Rs. 15/- peapplication to the APOnline service centre.
