EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
Candidates should have passed MBBS/ BDS Degree examination or its equivalent 
METHOD OF SELECTION : 
Shortlisting the candidates based on qualifying examination and weightage.
There will be no interview.
Selection Process : 
a) Total Marks – 100.
b) 75 Marks will be allocated against marks obtained in the qualifying examination i.e., Aggregate of Marks obtained in all the years in the qualifying examination.
c) Up to 10 marks @ 1(one) mark per each completed year after acquiring requisite qualification.
d) Weightage up to 15 Marks @ will be given to Civil Assistant Surgeon/ Dental Assistant Surgeons working on contract basis.
e) They should have minimum Six months of continuous service as Contract Civil Assistant Surgeon / Dental Assistant Surgeons to be eligible for weightage.

POWERGRID is looking for Bright, Committed and Energetic engineers to join its fold as EXECUTIVE TRAINEE in Electrical discipline.

UPPER AGE LIMIT   : 28 years as on 31.12.2013
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : 
Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) from recognized University/ Institute Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering Minimum 65% or Equivalent CGPA.
AMIE Electrical  Minimum 65% with both Sections A & B cleared by 31.03.2014
Final Year /Semester  students who expect their  results by 14.08.2014 are also eligible, provided they have obtained minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate  of all semesters/years up to pre-final examination.
SELECTION PROCESS : Based on the marks obtained (Out of 100) by the eligible candidates in the EE paper of GATE 2014, followed by group discussion and personal interview of the candidates who qualify in the GATE paper and have been shortlisted category wise for the GD and interview. 
Candidates shall have the option for appearing the GD/ interview in Hindi or English.

Eligible candidates will have to appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE - 2014.
Candidates  obtaining  a valid score (Marks out of 100) shall only be eligible for the  next stage of selection. The score is valid only if the candidate obtains more than or equal to the qualifying marks as fixed for the EE paper of GATE 2014

Qualifying Marks in GATE-2014 
The qualifying marks  for GATE Examination shall be as per the criteria adopted by the GATE-2014 examination conducting authority for different categories.

Please note that only  GATE-2014 score (Marks  out  of  100) is valid for this recruitment exercise. GATE - 2013 score or prior is not valid.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 12th  Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University and a typing speed of 35 wpm in English and/or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Desirable : Graduate  from a recognized University, knowledge of Computers  and  other Office equipment.

1. Assistant Chemist-VI : 03 Posts (UR-02, ST-01)
Discipline : Quality Control
Qualification : B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory  subjects  OR  B.Sc  (H)  in  Chemistry  with Physics & Mathematics  as  compulsory  subjects  from  a

Experience : One year post-qualification experience in a reputed chemical industry preferably in petrochemical / refinery sector. Should have hands on experience on UV visible spectro photometer, AAS, GC, HPLC etc.

2. Jr. Engg. Asstt - IV (F&S) : 1 post (OBC)
Discipline : Fire & Safety
Qualification : Matric with Sub-Officer’s course from  NFSC, Nagpur & Heavy Vehicle   Driving License OR Matric with Fireman's course from Govt. recognised institute & Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Experience  : One  year  post-qualification  experience in Fire Service in Petroleum / Petrochemical / Fertilizer or other large scale Industries.

3. Jr. Engg. Asstt - IV (Production) : 20 posts (UR-10, SC-07, ST-02, OBC-01)
Discipline : Chemical
Qualification : B.Sc (MPC) or 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a Govt recognized institute as a regular student.
Experience : One year post-qualification experience in the operation of continuous Process plants in Fertilizer/Hydrocarbon sector.
PAY SCALE : Rs.11,900-32,000
4. Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV (P&U) : 4 posts (UR-02, ST-01, OBC-01)
Discipline : Electrical /Mechanical
Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with not less than 1 year Apprenticeship in Boiler Operations in an industrial house under the Apprentices Act,1961 OR Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2 years work experience in P&U operations, OR B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects having completed  Apprenticeship in Boiler Operations in an industrial house under the Apprentices Act,1961 OR B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics  as main subject  & 3 years work experience in P&U operations.
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering : Not less than 1 year Apprenticeship in Boiler Operations in an industrial house under the Apprentices Act,1961 OR 2 years post-qualification experience in Electrical operation of Power Plant / Gas Turbines and Electrical distribution system in Chemical Process Plants / Fertilizers / Hydrocarbon Industries
B.Sc with PCM: Completed Apprenticeship in Boiler Operations in an industrial house under the Apprentices Act,1961 OR 3 years  post-qualification experience in Electrical operation of Power Plant / Gas Turbines and Electrical distribution system in Chemical Process Plants / Fertilizers / Hydrocarbon Industries.
PAY SCALE : Rs.11,900-32,000

Qualification & Experience : Degree in Engineering with 60% in Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Chemical/Instrumentation / Civil/ Structural discipline with experience in operation/ maintenance of any of the major units of an integrated steel plant like Raw Material Handing Plant / Coke- Ovens/ By – Product Plant/Blast Furnace / Sinter Plant / Steel Melting  Shop/ Continuous slab Casting Plant/Hot Strip Rolling Mills/ Lime & Dolomite Plant/ Power Plant/Power & Blowing Station/ Oxygen Plant /Utilities including Water Supply, Energy Management, Central Maintenance Dept./ Loco & Traffic/ Central Laboratory  Management. (Quality Control of Raw materials, finished products and process control of Integrated Steel Plant etc.,).

2. INDUSTRIAL SAFETY (For the post of Sr. Manager (E4)/Manager (E3) (FOR NISP, NAGARNAR)  : 03 posts
Qualification & Experience: The candidate should be a Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with a Degree /Diploma in Industrial Safety from a reputed institute like Central Labour Institute (CLI)/ Regional Labour institute (RLI). 
The candidate should have working experience in a large manufacturing organization preferably in an integrated Steel plant/Power Generation Plant/Heavy Engineering industries/ Continuous Process industry. Candidates having experience in administration of Safety provisions and knowledge of industrial Safety Systems and regulations under the Factories Act will be preferred. Experience in promotion of safety consciousness among employees and examination of machinery, equipment and building from safety angle and organizing safety training to employees will be an added advantage. The candidate should have adequate knowledge of Hindi.
3. HORTICULTURE (For the post of Junior Officer (Horticulture) (Supervisory level) (for NISP NAGARNAR)  : 03 posts 
Qualification & Experience:  The candidate should have "PG Degree in Science (M Sc.) with Agriculture/Horticulture or B.Sc (Agri) of 4 years course or B.Sc (3 years) + PG Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture".  1 Year experience in line is desirable.
4. MANAGER (Ceramic)(E4)/Manager(Ceramic)(E3) – for PANTHAL MAGNESITE PROJECT OF J& K MDC : 01 post
Qualification and Experience: A Degree in Ceramic Engineering preferably first class from a reputed institute. The candidate should have post qualification experience as indicated at II below in erection and commissioning of refractory plant or a similar plant involving Shaft Kin. Candidates having experience in production/marketing of basic refractories will have an added advantage.
