1. Principal  : 1 post (UR) permanent  
Educational qualifications : i) Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks from a recognized University.
ii) Ph. D. Degree in concerned/ allied/relevant disciplines in the institutions concern with evidence of published work and research guidance.
iii) Associate Professor /Professor with a total experience of 15 years of teaching/ research / administration in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education.
iv) minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicate of (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as set out in the UGC Regulation, 2010 Appendix-III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
2. Associate Professor  : 05(five) posts ( SC-01, ST-02 & UR-02)
Pathology (1) / Radiodiagnosis (1) / Psychiatry (1) / Dermatology (1) /  General Surgery (1)
Educational Qualification
a) Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for 4  years in a recognized Medical  College.
(b) Minimum of 2 Research Publications in  Indexed/ National Journals as the First / Second Author during the tenure of Assistant Professor.
3. Inspector  : 2 posts , temporary (UR-02) 
Educational Qualifications :
Essential :- i) Graduate of a recognized University in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects) or Technology or Engineering or holds a recognized Diploma in Engineering.
ii) Able to speak, read and write at least in one of the regional languages of the State, Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-borak is essential.

Experience : 3 years experience in any organized Medical Institution, preferably in a labour Organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:  i) Must have  passed  the  10th   Class examination or  its equivalent examination.

MODE OF SELECTION : A screening Test to shortlist the candidates in the ratio of 1:3 for each post. 
 The second step will be based on the following procedure for a total of 100 Marks:
a)  70% of marks for the percentage obtained in the qualifying examination.
b)  15% of marks for contract employees working in A.P.I.M.S.
Department.
i) @ 10 Marks per year in Rural Area. ii) @ 5 Marks per year in Urban Area.
iii) Minimum service will be counted if required for 6 months  period i.e., 5 marks for rural areas and 2 1/2 marks for Urban areas. 
In case, the experience is less than 6 months, no marks will be awarded to experience.
iv) No weightage may be given for the service rendered for
less than 6 months.
c) 15% of marks for experience i.e., years from the date of passing the qualifying examination.  3 marks for each year up to a maximum of 15 marks.
d) There will be no interview.
