POWERGRID is looking for Bright, Committed and Energetic engineers to join its fold as EXECUTIVE TRAINEE in Electrical discipline.

UPPER AGE LIMIT   : 28 years as on 31.12.2013
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : 
Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) from recognized University/ Institute Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering Minimum 65% or Equivalent CGPA.
AMIE Electrical  Minimum 65% with both Sections A & B cleared by 31.03.2014
Final Year /Semester  students who expect their  results by 14.08.2014 are also eligible, provided they have obtained minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate  of all semesters/years up to pre-final examination.
SELECTION PROCESS : Based on the marks obtained (Out of 100) by the eligible candidates in the EE paper of GATE 2014, followed by group discussion and personal interview of the candidates who qualify in the GATE paper and have been shortlisted category wise for the GD and interview. 
Candidates shall have the option for appearing the GD/ interview in Hindi or English.

Eligible candidates will have to appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE - 2014.
Candidates  obtaining  a valid score (Marks out of 100) shall only be eligible for the  next stage of selection. The score is valid only if the candidate obtains more than or equal to the qualifying marks as fixed for the EE paper of GATE 2014

Qualifying Marks in GATE-2014 
The qualifying marks  for GATE Examination shall be as per the criteria adopted by the GATE-2014 examination conducting authority for different categories.

Please note that only  GATE-2014 score (Marks  out  of  100) is valid for this recruitment exercise. GATE - 2013 score or prior is not valid.

A nine month Campus programme at Manipal University, Bangalore Campus, to be followed by a three months internship at any of the Andhra Bank Branches.
The compulsory 3-months internship will be at any of the Bank Branches which will enable an on- the-job training of the candidates and also a real-time work experience.
Final placement at Andhra Bank:
candidates after successful completion of the course will be awarded the 'POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BANKING  AND FINANCE' from Manipal University at a convocation ceremony where they shall also be handed over the final appointment letters from the Bank. 
Fees : The fees for this Course will be Rs.3.30 lakhs (all inclusive of boarding, Lodging and course fees, other fees, etc.) plus service taxes/ cess, as applicable to be paid by the student.
However, candidates can finance the course fees by availing an Education Loan which will be granted by Andhra Bank at a concessional rate of interest of 8% p.a.
