Indian Bureau of Mines, Nagpur: Group 'B' Non Gazetted & Group ‘C’ posts

Ministry of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines, Nagpur invites applications from eligible candidates for the following Group ‘B’ (Non Gazetted) & ‘C’ posts:
1. Senior Technical Assistant ( Mining Engineering) : 4 posts( 2-UR, 2-OBC)
qualification : Should have a diploma in Mining Engineering  (3 Years course after Matriculation) or its equivalent  with 3 years experience  in mines, preferably underground mines.
2. Senior Technical Assistant (Chemistry): 3 posts (2-UR, 1-OBC)
qualification : Should have Master's Degree in Chemistry preferably with specialization in inorganic/ Physical Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry. or Bachelor's Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject with 3 years experience in analysis of ores and minerals.
3. Senior Technical Assistant  ( (Survey) :1 post (OBC)
qualification : Matriculation Examination or its equivalent.and Mine surveyors Competency Certificate OR Exchange Certificate awarded by the Board of Mining Examination Dhanbad.OR Diploma in Mining and Mines surveying (3 years course after Matriculation) issued by State Board of Technical Education OR Diploma of Government Industrial Training Institute of 2 years course in Surveying.
4. Junior Technical Assistant (Ore Dressing) :1 posts (UR)
qualifications: Master's Degree in Ore- Dressing, mineral processing or Geology or Chemistry or Physics. OR B.tech. in Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy or equivalent.OR Degree in Ore-Dressing of Geology /Chemistry/ Physics with two years experience in Ore-Dressing or Mineralogy
 5. Pilot Plant Assistant :1 post (SC)
qualification: Should have passed the Matriculation examination or its equivalent with 5 years experience of work in an ore dressing laboratory or in ore dressing pilot plant
6.Draftsman : 3 posts (2-OBC, 1-ST)
qualifications:Should have passed Matriculation Examination or its equivalent. ii) Should have a Diploma or Certificate of not less than two years duration in (Civil/ Mechanical) Draftsmanship from National Council for Training in Vocational Trades (NCTVT)
7.Assistant Store Keeper ( Technical) :1 post (UR)
qualification :i)10+2 examination passed with Mathematics as one  of the subjects from recognized Board or equivalent and ii) 3 years service in Central Government or a recognized organization or institution in handling Engineering or Technical Stores
8.Store Clerk : 4 posts (UR)
qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent. and one year Experience in handling technical stores 
9.Mechanic: 1 post (UR)
qualification : ITI as Machineman or Fitter  or Mechanic  (OR)  Matriculation with five years experience in maintenance or repairs of ore  dressing or similar machines in a scientific  laboratory. 
10. Electrician : 1 post ( UR)
qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent. Should be a holder of Wireman Electric License issued by the  Competent Board Should have at lest two years practical experience as Electrician in a 
 large automatic or Engineering Workshop 
11.Laboratory Attendant: 3 posts (UR)
qualification: Matriculation Examination or its equivalent. Two years experience of work in a scientific laboratory.
12.Chainman : 9 posts (6-UR, 2-OBC,1-SC)
qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent.experience of working with survey party in a field or in a mine. 
13.Junior Press Assistant : 1 post (OBC)
qualification: (i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.  (ii) Two years Diploma in Printing and Composing from Industrial  Training Institute.(iii) Two years of experience in hand composing or operating  treadle printing press or offset printing press or Xerographic equipment specially relating to technical book work.
