National Institute of Ocean Technology proposes to engage Project Personnel on contract basis in the following cadres.
1. Project Scientist – II
Discipline : Mechanical
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with above 60%.
Experience : 3 years experience in Research and Development, Survey/Planning in the relevant field.
Discipline: Civil / Structural Engineering
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute with above 60%.
Experience: 3 years experience in Research and Development, Survey/Planning in the relevant field.
2. Project Scientist – I
Discipline : Marine Geophysics
Essential: Master’s Degree in Marine Geophysics from a recognized University/ Institute with first class.
Discipline : Geology with Remote Sensing
eligibility : Post graduation Degree in Geology/Remote Sensing from a recognized University / Institute with at least first class
Discipline : Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
Essential : Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with above 60%.
3. Project Scientific Assistant
Discipline : Electronics & Instrumentation
Essential Eligibility : Diploma in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized Board / Institution with at least first class.
Discipline : Electronics & Communication
Essential : Diploma in Electronics & Communciation from a recognized Board / Institution with at least first class (60% in aggregate)
Discipline : Civil
Eligibility Criteria Essential : Diploma in Civil Engineering
Discipline : Electrical
Essential : Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Board / Institution
Discipline : Mechanical
Eligibility Criteria Essential : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Board.
Discipline : Life Science
Essential Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in Botany / Zoology / Marine Biology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology from a recognized University with at least first class (60% in aggregate)
4. Project Technicians
Discipline : Mechanical
Essential : 10th Class Pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognized board and ITI in Mechanical / Fitter course approved by National Council for Vocational Training from recognized institutions with Basic knowledge of computer.
Discipline : Electrical / Wireman
Essential qualifications : 10th Class Pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognized board and ITI in Electrical / Wireman course approved by National Council for Vocational Training from recognized institutions.
Discipline : Civil
qualifications : 10th Class Pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognized board and ITI in Civil – Draftsman / CAD / Quality Surveyor course.
5. Project Senior Executive
essential qualification : A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, basic knowledge of computers ii) Minimum 7 years experience in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ Other
reputed organisations.
6. Senior Research Fellow
Discipline : Physical Oceanography / Physics / Oceanography
Eligibility Criteria Essential : M.Sc with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physical
Oceanography / Physics / Oceanography and at least two years of post qualification research experience with at least one publication in SCI Journal.
Discipline : Life / Chemical Sciences
Eligibility Criteria Essential : M. Sc. in Botany / Zoology / Marine Biology / Biochemistry /
Microbiology / Biotechnology / Chemistry with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and at least two years of post qualification research experience with at least one publication in SCI Journal or M. Tech. in Biotechnology.
