Applications are invited from Unmarried Male and Female Graduates In Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical & Automation Engineering for Recruitment as
TRAINEE MARINE ENGINEER
Qualification : degree in Mechanical Engineering /Mechanical & Automation Engineering from AICTE Approved Engineering college. Final year / semester students who have appeared in the exam and expect their results by 31.07.2013 are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit : max. 28 years
Medical Standard : Candidate must have good health and should be fit for sea service as per existing MS Medical rules 2000 applicable to sea farers.
Eyesight: Candidate must have good eye sight in general. Defective colour vision (colour blindness) is NOT accepted.
Selection Procedure: written Test and interview
Test Centre: The written test will be held at Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai only.
Application Fees:
Rs.1000/- for General (UR) & OBC candidate’s and Rs.500/- for SC & ST candidate’s .
Admit Card: Admit cards will not be delivered to candidate’s home address. List of eligible candidates for the All India written examination will be published on The Shipping Corporation Of India’s website (www.shipindia/career/fleet personnel).An Admit card of eligible candidate will be available on website to download before written examination.
